Philips SpeechLive announces new, unlimited speech recognition package
Unlimited Advanced Business Package enables users full access to high-quality, unlimited speech recognition, dictation and transcription features
The professional speech recognition capabilities are powered by Philips' professional workflow software, SpeechExec Pro 10.2, and Nuance's professional Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition. Along with unlimited speech recognition, users can also take advantage of features such as the ability to assign document templates to their voice files or transcriptions directly from their smartphones, based on the author name and/or work type, helping busy professionals save time by turning their speech into text more efficiently.
"Authors can send their dictations directly from their smartphone to Philips SpeechLive and receive the professionally transcribed text document back to their phone in no time," said Dr. Thomas Brauner, CEO of Speech Processing Solutions. "For instance, a user can record the summary of a client meeting with their smartphone and have the transcribed file ready within moments to share with clients or managers, saving time and resources."
The speech recognition in the Unlimited Advanced Business Package is available in 6 languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish. Further, as words in the transcribed documents are corrected by the user, the software will adapt to individual profiles, learning how users speak based on their vocabulary, which leads to the most accurate speech recognition results. In addition to automated speech recognition, Philips SpeechLive also offers a professional transcription service, which utilizes trained professionals to type up recordings and dictations for more complex documents.
