"I'm excited about the latest release in which we are now offering the best speech recognition in the market for our legal and law-enforcement customers. SPS and Nuance combine the best of both worlds when it comes to speech recognition and workflow solutions. This allows our users to speed up their communication and document creation to exceed their clients' expectations,"
Supporting modern and flexible workspace demands
With the growing demand for modern and flexible work environments, companies can take speech recognition to the next level when combined with a solution that allows for team workflows, tracks status updates, assigns priorities and tasks to dedicated personnel, and much more.
Ed McGuiggan, GM of Dragon Professional at Nuance, adds: "We are pleased to expand our long-lasting collaboration with SPS. The integration of Nuance Dragon with Philips SpeechExec Enterprise 8, creates an easy way to deploy a solution that fully meets the requirements of the modern workplace within large corporations. Together, we are accelerating the adoption and scalability of speech recognition solutions to support collaborative work environments, regardless of where employees are located."
Philips SpeechExec Enterprise 8 supports the most advanced speech recognition technology for professional environments by utilizing Nuance's speech recognition software. SpeechExec Enterprise connects to an on-site Windows server for front-end speech recognition, allowing sensitive customer data to remain within the company walls. For back-end speech recognition, files are sent from the Philips Voice Recorder App and mobile dictation devices to a shared location on the network where Philips Speech Recognition Server constantly monitors, retrieves new files, and converts them to text.
Example use cases include the quick creation of short, stand-alone copies as well as longer text documents, such as e-mails, memos, comprehensive briefs, or contracts that involve several touchpoints from team members. All recordings are processed through speech recognition and then reviewed, proofread, and finalized by in-house transcriptionists with the option to easily listen to the original recordings if needed.
