Trending 2018 mobile game has parents outraged
Creators of the hilarious mobile game, Slap My App™, have found themselves in hot water, after parents and celebrities have called the game "inappropriate" and "morally wrong".

Parents are worried the game encourages violence amongst kids and have voiced concerns over the games weapons, citing the dangers of hitting someone with a flip flop or under-cooked Sea Bass. Kids who have managed to play the game in secrecy from their parents have been able to share selfies of themselves slapping the well-known sports stars and A-List celebrities amongst friends.
Whilst Yalla Games, creators of Slap My App™ are said to be disappointed in the over-sensitive mollycoddling parenting response, they were quick to make the point that the game does however have a soft side. In the fact, that players can also 'love' a character by showering them with gifts and hearts, rather than just slapping. This in turn creates a social barometer of public feeling towards certain characters. See Who's Hot and Who's Not on a trending leader board.
In its purest form it is a public opinion poll that allows players to vote in an interactive and fun manner. Crudely some would say, slapstick humour others. Pun intended.
