What: UpCyclePOP, a pop-up Valentines market of upcycled items When: Sunday, February 11, 2018 Hours: Noon – 6 pm Where: 7300 Folsom Boulevard, Sacramento CA 95826 Who: Artists scheduled to exhibit include Kayden Hill, with Rare Bird Stereos, who converts suitcases and tackle boxes into Bluetooth stereos, Maureen Hefty turns old cutlery into jewellery, Metal Sculpture Artist Kristen Hoard and Mike Jones who repurposes found objects into furniture and manages Courageous Connection, a non-profit that helps foster youth. UpcyclePOP is a pilot project of Unleashed Productions, an ethical creative agency and production company converting the 7300 Folsom building into a thriving hub of tech, art, events, and eco-entrepreneurship.
