Liberator Season Finale from The Expanse Linguist Nick Farmer Now Available on Bound

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 18, 2018 - PRLog -- Today mobile fiction platform Bound is publishing the final two episodes of Liberator, an original sci-fi series from writer and linguist Nick Farmer. The free Bound app, available for iOS with an Android version coming soon, combines prose, art, and audio with community features from the best storytellers in geeky genres, such as sci-fi, fantasy, and thrillers.

Totaling 12 episodes, the first season of Liberator tells the story of Orth—the perfect killing machine—taken as a child, warped by genetic engineering, enslaved by cruel masters and compelled to slaughter against his will, until a mysterious stranger offers him the chance to be free.

"Liberator is an examination of where we as a species came from, and a thought experiment about where we may be going," said Farmer. "Working on the series has been especially great with Bound, as it makes the world feel even more alive. I look forward to bringing forth the next parts of the story."

Nick Farmer is a master of over two dozen languages. He created the Belter conlang for Syfy's The Expanse, contributed to the best-selling introductory linguistics textbook published by MIT Press, and works to support endangered and indigenous languages.

Bound debuted earlier this year with exclusive content based on the sci-fi time-traveling novel "The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O." by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland. The app also features content from acclaimed creators such as best-selling thriller author Eliot Peper, award-winning game writer Matt Entin, and former Pixar creator Stephan Bugaj.
