Campchamp Launches In Colorado

DENVER - Jan. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- CampChamp, a Colorado-based startup company, helps busy parents plan and book kids' summer and school breaks.  CampChamp makes the process of finding, researching, and booking camps easy as a summer breeze by providing a comprehensive listing of camp options all in one place.  Parents can search, sort, and filter based on the criteria that are most important to them, share camps with friends with whom their kids may want to attend, and even book camps directly on the site.

"As parents of school-aged children, the process of planning and booking summer and school break activities for our kids has always been a monumental feat.  We were surprised that an all-in-one solution for finding and booking kids' camps didn't really exist here in Colorado," said Bret Wilhoite, co-founder of CampChamp.  "A comprehensive site allows parents to save tons of time versus searching camps individually, and if we can save parents time and provide additional exposure to camps, it's a win-win for everyone," said Wilhoite.

The CampChamp marketplace includes a database of over 600 camp organizations who, in 2017, offered more than 15,000 camp sessions.  "Our 2018 database of camp sessions is already over 1,800 with programs and sessions being added daily," explained Andy Schlauch, co-founder.  CampChamp expects to have a similar number of 2018 camp sessions for parents to search on its site once camps finalize their program information for the coming summer.

In addition to providing a comprehensive listing of camps in Colorado, CampChamp provides parents the ability to:

·       narrow search results by focusing in on kids' particular interests – theatre, soccer, outdoor adventure, computer programming, and more than 80 other activities;

·       filter camp results to a particular location or zip code, date range, gender, age range, price, or duration;

·       see ratings from other parents;

·       compare camp sessions from one or more organizations side-by-side;

·       share camp sessions with friends; and

·       create lists of favorite camps to share or book later.

Additional features, including shared and interactive calendar planning, carpool coordination, and other enhancements, are planned in the future for CampChamp.  "We are focused on delivering a great experience for parents and making their lives easier.
