| Florida Health Care Plans to Host "Setting Goals & Beyond" WorkshopBy: Florida Health Care Plans The public is invited to learn how to set obtainable goals for the new year and to use those same skills to improve other aspects of their lives. Attendees will be given helpful tips and practical advice on how to set and achieve your goals and beyond. This free event will take place Jan. 8 from 10:15-11 a.m. and will be presented by Melissa Baumann, MS, RDN, LD, CDE. Future events scheduled for this month include: "Getting the Sugar Down". Presented by Jill Taufer, RDN on Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10:15-11 a.m. This free seminar focuses on learning the facts about added sugars, how to be a sugar detective when reading labels, and strategies to reduce sugar from your diet. "Coffee & Conversation" Each event will be held at the FHCP Community Wellness and Education Center, located at 471 S. Nova Road in Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
