LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Dec. 19, 2017 - PRLog -- Once the holidays have come and gone and the decorations are neatly stashed away until next year, the folks at Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful already have their sights set on Spring and Summer. Instead of sugar plums dancing through heads, they are thinking about beautiful garden beds around government buildings and schools, as well as freshly laid paths through Gwinnett County parks – all made possible by the popular annual treecycling event, Bring One for the Chipper. In the weeks leading up to Bring One for the Chipper – hosted at Bethesda Park in Lawrenceville on January 27, 2018 – Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful will be collecting live Christmas trees at a number of drop-off locations throughout the county.

"We love that Bring One for the Chipper has become a cherished part of holiday traditions for so many residents throughout Gwinnett County," said Schelly Marlatt, Executive Director for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful. "Instead of being sad that Christmas is over, they can drop off their tree knowing that it will be given a new life. Once the trees have been collected at area fire stations, they'll be transported to Bethesda Park for the big day when they'll be chipped into mulch and then transported to locations all over the county to beautify our community. Talk about a happy ending to a great holiday season!"

Christmas trees – which must be free of lights, tree stands and ornaments – can be dropped off at the following locations between December 26, 2017 and January 15, 2018 in preparation for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful's Bring One for the Chipper 2018:
