CARTHAGE, N.C. - Dec. 11, 2017 - PRLog -- The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage builds on Carthage North Carolina's rich Scottish immigrant history, which began in the mid-1700s, noted as a home on a high hill. Further growth ensued through the Tyson and Jones Cadillac of Carriages manufacturing plant of the early 1900's. The Carthage Historic Association shares an abundance of wondrous stories of these early entrepreneurial settlers who maintained a strong faith in things unseen, which resulted in Carthage becoming the County Seat for Moore County, North Carolina - commonly referred to as "Sweet Carthage."

The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage Team builds on these early Scottish settlers' determination through the provision of developmental arts, and community services, in the form of our bookstore, which will feature eclectic arts and crafts as well (i.e.: artwork, beaded curtains, clothing, jewelry, make-up, metal work, pottery, scarves, throws, woodworking, etc.) as artisans, books and gifts where even our furry friends are welcome . . .

Our vision of a haberdasher's menagerie featuring art, books, bobbles, workshops and learning resources is paired with our belief in building through networking (not competing) with "local" small business owners throughout Moore County, Central Carolina and beyond. As business professionals, every small business entity may augment another's talents through collaborative solutions to best serve the community-at-large.

Authors are coming to celebrate reading and their titles, in our little Town of Carthage. Already, The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage is gaining significant interest regarding featured workshops, seminars and/or training services. Of course, a children's story time is going to be featured to include musicians, puppeteers, storytellers, and other talented folks who love to entertain children, young adults and adults alike. A small eatery is intended to provide high-end infused waters, cocoa, coffee, teas and wines as well as baker's items, organic and vegan indulgences and treats for our furry friends who can endure public exposure.

We all need a place to visit where time can be forgotten, comfort is a natural outcome during your visit, and senses can be awakened in a tranquil, yet charming environment. The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage welcomes Central North Carolinians and surrounding towns and communities, such as: Aberdeen Addor, Ashley Heights, Cameron, Dover, Eagle Springs, Eastwood, Edgewood Terrace, Elberta, Foxfire Village, Garners Store, Garren Hill, Glendon, Harris, Haw Branch, High Falls, Highland Trails, Hill Crest, Hoffman, Hog Island, Huntcliff, Jackson Hamlet, Jackson Springs, Jugtown, Knollwood, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lobelia, Manly, McConnell, Midtown, Monroetown, Mount Pleasant, Murdocksville, Narrow Ridge, Niagara, Parkwood, Pine Forest, Pine Hill, Pinebluff, Pinehurst, Pleasantville, Putnam, Robbins, Roseland, Samarcand, Seven Lakes, Sherwood Park, Silver Springs, Southern Pines, Spies, Steeds, Taylortown, Thomas Crossroads, Vass, Warrior Woods, West End, West Philadelphia, Westmore, Whispering Pines, Yadkin Trail, and Zion Grove among others - we look forward to greeting our guests from these localities and beyond.

The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage will be in the Marion Building on McNeill Street, which is presently owned by Mr. Lee and Mrs. Annette McGraw (Carthage's Mayor and his wife) who have been very gracious building owners and lessors - our team indeed feels very fortunate to have earned their approval. And, additional thanks to Ms. Kimberly Sarno, Principal and Broker-in-Charge and Senior Vice President of Operations of Cliff Management and Clift Commercial of Southern Pines. The Very Little Bookstore of Carthage team is very thankful to have such a professional team to work with.
