Arena Football Team Currently Recruiting Cheerleaders and Players

MACON, Ga. - Dec. 10, 2017 - PRLog -- Middle Georgia's newest sports team, Georgia Doom, is casting for its 2018 season and will hold dance/cheerleader troupe auditions and team tryouts next week.

The arena football expansion team is looking for strong and versatile contemporary dancers and cheerleaders interested in being part of this dynamic new organization. It's an opportunity to exhibit their passion for dancing, and being part of a dance team is a great way to make friends and take a break from life's stresses, which can be offset by many of the benefits that come with being a part of the Georgia Doom dance/cheerleader troupe.

Some of those benefits include free weekly hair, facial, make-up, manicure, pedicure, massage, and dental appointments. Members will also enjoy free chiropractic once a week, if needed, and meals, when scheduled, as part of the Georgia Doom team.

Individuals who are selected to join the dance/cheerleader troupe will perform during the team's entire regular season, which runs from March 24 through June 9. The Georgia Doom anticipates a championship season, so the troupe will also perform at all post-season games.

Dance/Cheerleader auditions will be held:

         December 16, 2017 (Saturday)

         11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Registration is at 10:30 a.m.)

The Georgia Doom is also holding team tryouts for players who are interested in joining its athletic squad, which plans to start practicing in early 2018. This session is an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their football knowledge and skills to the team's coaching staff, which is led by head Coach Derek Stingley.

To quality, applicants must have played football in high school, and college football experience is a plus.
