Preparing Texans for Emergencies and Disasters

In the time it takes you to watch your favorite television show, you could be taking a step forward towards preparedness.

SAN ANTONIO - Dec. 1, 2017 - PRLog -- There is no convenient time for disaster to strike. Morgan from Armed Rogue is dedicated to teaching people how to be prepared for emergencies and disasters. As much as we all want to believe that preppers are hiding away in bunkers afraid of the world, the fact is, it's just common sense to be prepared.

When you are planning a trip to the grocery store, you write a list of what you need; that's being prepared! When you are planning a trip and you make a checklist so that you don't forget anything; that's being prepared! When you bring extra snacks and water with you when you go out for a hike or walk; that's being prepared!

Being prepared is extremely simple and doesn't take a lot of time or money. Morgan, founder of Armed Rogue, suggests simple techniques to being prepared, "When you go to the grocery store, pick up a few extra cans of vegetables or canned chicken and put those aside for your emergency food supply. Also be sure to pick up a couple gallons of water and put those aside for your emergency water supply."

Morgan releases short, actionable eBooks every month to help people be more prepared. Each eBook focuses on one topic, such as food storage, making sure it's short and to the point; which prevents the reader from getting overwhelmed and assists them in taking action towards their preparedness. eBooks can be found on her website: http://morganrogue.com/ebooks

Morgan is also holding monthly preparedness meetings in San Antonio through meetup.com. The meetup group is called "San Antonio Emergency Preparedness". She hopes to make San Antonio - and the world - a more prepared place.
