WASHINGTON - Nov. 14, 2017 - PRLog -- Monday, November 20, 2017, In an effort to provide families with a prepared meal for the Thanksgiving Holiday, Two 6 Foundation partners with Faces of Adversity and The National Children's Center (NCC) to host the third annual "Soul Giving" Food for the Soul from Us to You at the National Children's Center located at 3400 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE, Washington, DC.  Sharing a passion for children, children with special needs, seniors, college students, disenfranchised and military families, together they continue the tradition of this event to foster a family environment while offering a holiday meal to those in need.  The college students will also be given the opportunity to serve by joining other volunteers from the local community throughout the event.

Doors will open at 5:00pm. Guests will receive Thanksgiving dinner complete with games and activities for families and children.  Food is sponsored and prepared for the second year in a row by the wonderful staff of Soul Wingz Restaurant led by Anthony Holoman, Owner/Operator. The National Children's Center Chef Nelson will have a display of the center's garden to table program.  Event Soundtrack provided by WPGC's DJ Aladdin da Prince of the Airwaves and special moments will be capture through the lense of Q Entertainment.  Official event hashtags #SoulgivingHolidayFeast #DestroythatTurkey.  Special guests invited to attend.

The founders of this event ACC Legend, 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame Nominee, Retired Denver Broncos Rookie of the Year and 1 of the 80 Greatest Washington Redskins; NFL Running Back,  Clinton Portis and Curt Harmon, founder of Faces of Adversity and also former NFL and CFL player currently a Motivational Speaker.   Are very excited to welcome NCC this year's host.
