Young Dentist Takes Over Ownership of Middlebury Dental Center In Middlebury, Connecticut

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. - Nov. 14, 2017 - PRLog -- Arsalan Elahi, D.M.D., age 30, a resident of Waterbury, CT, recently took over ownership of Middlebury Dental Center at 1625 Straits Turnpike Suite 210.

"This is a very exciting time in my career to take over ownership of the Middlebury Dental Center. It will be my honor to welcome continuing and new patients, and even walk-in patients. My ambition is to provide high quality, anxiety-free dentistry in a friendly environment."

The practice was founded in 1993 by Magdy G. Mikaiel, D.D.S. who built his practice for the last twenty-four years with a commitment to provide high-quality dental service and service to the community. Dr. Mikaiel is looking forward to retiring and being able to provide volunteer services during his free time. Before selecting Dr. Elahi to take over his valued practice, Dr. Mikaiel met with many dentists to transition the practice and he felt Dr. Arsalan Elahi was the best fit for the practice.

Currently, Dr. Elahi oversees three full-time and three part-time staff members in addition to his own patient roster and that of Dr. Mikaiel who is providing as-needed in-office advice to help with the ownership transition.

Middlebury Dental Center offers comprehensive dental services for the whole family. The practice's services include cosmetic teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, restorative dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, in-office root canals, extractions. The practice places a high emphasis on preventive care including gum treatments, deep cleaning, sealants and fluoride protection.

Raised in Waterbury since age 8, Dr. Elahi received his education from area schools including John F. Kennedy High School, and his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. After graduating from UCONN, he moved to Boston to earn his masters and dental degree from Boston University Dental School and graduated in 2014. He furthered his training in the mid-west in Cincinnati, OH before returning to his hometown of Waterbury and his community of friends and neighbors to provide high-quality dentistry in a gentle atmosphere. He reminisced that he "missed my life in Connecticut where I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, hiking or relaxing with a book."

After returning to Waterbury, Dr. Elahi practiced in the Waterbury and Torrington areas before joining Middlebury Dental Center as a dentist with Dr. Mikaiel.

Dr. Elahi's philosophy is that a visit to the dentist should be friendly and pain-free. He commented, "What I value from my schooling, training, and working with Dr. Mikhail, and in my own practice, is compassionate and quality dental care. It is what I expect from my dentist and strives to provide the same experience for my patients."
