Biggest Lessons Learned as a Growing Business

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 9, 2017 - PRLog -- Starting a business of your own, we make so many mistakes, learning what works and what does not. As our business grows, we learn about how to make our company better. At the same time this allows us to show other start ups what to do so they do not make the same mistakes. Here are six lessons we have learned as a growing business.

1. Getting Advice from the right people

Getting advice from the right people is huge as we grow, we have learned asking the wrong individual for advice can hurt our company in the long run. Most of the time we want to ask our friends and loves ones for advice on how we should run our business, but most of the time the ones we are asking have never run a company their selves. When it comes to asking for advice on your company, ask people who have ran successful companies their selves.

2. Find the right mentor

Finding a mentor that you look up to and that you would take advice from, running a company can come with a lot of adversity, find a mentor that will push you to your highest potential. As an entrepreneur, we our own boss, some of us work from home. With this a person needs discipline. The right mentor can help you not get distracted to our daily lives. Also what I have learned from having a mentor it has helped me with keeping me accountable to doing what I said I would do.

3. Education never stops

One thing our company has learned from hanging around other successful people is the education never stops. We are always learning something new when it comes to business or how to make our company better. We believe that education does not end after you graduate from school, it is only the beginning.

4. You have to commit.

If you want to succeed in business, you have to be dedicated to your business. If you do not commit your business or startup will never grow. Being in business comes with many obstacles, you have to be in it no matter what happens. Adversity does happen so we have to be committed to the no's, it may not be how we thought it was gonna be but if you want your business goals to be reached you have to be committed to it.

5. Have Goals and a plan in placed.

When it comes to your business, having goals and letting your people know where your company is headed is huge. Having a plan on how to execute is how your business will become a success. Your goals and your plan for your business may change as your company expands.

6. You can't do everything on your own.

Hiring a team is essential to run a successful company, there is only so many hours we can commit to our business, but with a team of people we can commit to a lot more. I recommend to read E Myth for those entrepreneurs who believe they can do everything on their own.
