US trade with South Korea in the 2nd quarter of 2017

Sept. 28, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with South Korea totaled $31.9 billion, up 8.13% ($2.4 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to South Korea in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $13.2 billion, up 27.45% ($2.8 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from South Korea in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $18.7 billion, down 2.26% ($0.4 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with South Korea in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $5.6 billion, a 36.86% decrease ($3.3 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

South Korea was the US 6th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 3.2336% of US total trade (up from 3.1873% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

South Korea was the US 6th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 8th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 3.4188% of US total exports (up from 2.8382% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

South Korea was the US 6th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 3.1153% of US total imports (down from 3.4132% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
