Cafeteria Assistants Neeed to Help Feed Hungry Students in Apache Junction

PHOENIX - Sept. 27, 2017 - PRLog -- The Apache Junction Unified School District in Apache Junction is currently accepting online applications for cafeteria assistants. Cafeteria assistants are responsible for setting up and serving food for AJUSD students, food preparation, clean up, and other related duties. Cafeteria assistants generally work five hours a day and have weekends and school holidays off.

Applicants must apply through the district website, www.ajusd.org. The application must be completed online and takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete, however the process does not have to be finished in one sitting.  The application, guidelines and directions can be found on the AJUSD website under Employment.

"Cafeteria assistants play an important role in providing our students with wholesome and delicious meals," said Karen Warhus, food services director for AJUSD. "Many women and men enjoy this job, but it can be ideal employment for parents or grandparents who want to work shorter hours or need to take summers off to be with their children."
