US trade with China in the 2nd quarter of 2017

Sept. 14, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 2nd quarter of 2017, US trade with China totaled $156.4 billion, up 11.99% ($16.7 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US exports to China in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $29.7 billion, up 14.36% ($3.7 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US imports from China in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $126.6 billion, up 11.44% ($13.0 billion) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with China in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $96.9 billion, a 10.58% increase ($9.3 billion) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

China was the US largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 2nd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 15.8519% of US total trade (up from 15.0868% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

China was the US 3rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 7.7321% of US total exports (up from 7.1536% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

China was the US largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 21.0423% of US total imports (up from 20.2190% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
