US trade with China in the 1st quarter of 2017

Aug. 29, 2017 - PRLog -- In the 1st quarter of 2017, US trade with China totaled $142.4 billion, up 7.27% ($9.7 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US exports to China in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $29.5 billion, up 16.98% ($4.3 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US imports from China in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $112.9 billion, up 4.99% ($5.4 billion) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

US trade deficit with China in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $83.4 billion, a 1.32% increase ($1.1 billion) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

China was the US largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 15.1788% of US total trade (up from 15.1705% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

China was the US 3rd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 7.9183% of US total exports (up from 7.2556% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

China was the US largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 19.9604% of US total imports (down from 20.3846% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
