Why do I like Itachi Uchiha the most?

Itachi Uchiha is one of the most charismatic and important characters in Naruto. He was a member of Konoha's Uchiha Clan and the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha. A genius amongst members of his clan; a close friend of Shisui Uchiha when he was young and a highly capable Genjutsu user.

Itachi was a genius; he is intelligent, reasonable and thoughtful. At the age of 7, he was able to put himself in the perspective of an Hokage and he didn't allow himself to be chained either by the thoughts of a clan or a village. He was not very talkative and was poor at communicating. Itachi had trouble communicating with kids his age and even kids a little older, his line of thoughts and maturity was clear; at the same time, this condition led him to isolate himself.

He dressed himself in the common Uchiha Clan's garment. As he was growing, he developed some prominent wrinkles in his face; however, his long hair hairstyle did not change. His hair was tied up in a ponytail, his garments changed in accordance to whom he was representing at the time – a normal citizen or an Anbu.

To protect the village from chaos, he accepted the mission of eliminating the entire Uchiha Clan and entered Akatsuki as an undercover agent working for Konoha. Finally, during the battle with his little brother, Sasuke Uchiha, after giving him his eye, due to a frail body and an incurable disease, he perished.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Itachi Uchiha was resurrected by Kabuto with the Edo Tensei jutsu.


When fighting Naruto Uzumaki and Killer Bee, he used his Mangekyo Sharingan on Naruto, activating the Shisui Uchiha's Kotoamatsukami (which took the form of a Crow) that Itachi had previously put inside Naruto's body. Thus, Itachi released himself of the restrains of the Edo Tensei jutsu casted on him. Itachi later joined Sasuke; together, they defeated Kabuto and released the Edo Tensei jutsu.
