Turi Beach Awarded as "The Best Environmental Management Hotel 2017" for 2nd consecutive time

BATAM ISLAND, Indonesia - Aug. 4, 2017 - PRLog -- Turi Beach Resort has been awarded as "The Best Environmental Management Hotel 2017 "by Badan Pengendalian Dampak Lingkungan (BAPEDAL) - Environmental Impact Management Agency - City of Batam Government Office  for 2^nd consecutive time

The award was presenting by  Amsakar Achmad as vice mayor of Batam  and witness by Dendi N Purnomo, the Head of Environmental Impact Management Agency - City of Batam Government Office and General Manager of Turi Beach Resort, Sumantri Endang was on hand to receive, the award held on Saturday , 29^th July 2017 in conjunction World Environment Day Ceremony at Mega Mall– Batam – Indonesia

The award, which serves as a recognition of the hotel's continued commitment and effort in working towards a sustainable future and responsible tourism that benefits its guests, employees and the community including waste water treatment and management , solid waste management, energy efficiency, water efficiency, noise pollution control,  air quality management, and toxic and chemical substance disposal management.

Prior to receiving the award slides presentation were conducted by  Sumantri Endang The General Manager of Turi Beach Resort and Mr.Romi Aswandi, Chief Engineering of Turi Beach Resort to 3 environmental committees conducted by Badan Pengendalian Dampak Lingkungan (BAPEDAL) - Environmental Impact Management Agency - City of Batam Government Office
