BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - July 21, 2017 - PRLog -- House Parties is proud to announce that it has added the luxurious shooting lodge 'Stucktaymore' in Scotland to its collection of properties available for holidays and special celebrations.

The 13-bedroomed house, which sleeps 29 people, overlooks Loch Tay in the highlands of Scotland, and was originally built in 1753 for the Earl of Breadalbane as his summer hunting lodge.  The estate originally covered 50,000 acres of land on the north shore of the loch, including much of what is now Killin village.

Over the years, the imposing property has had a number of different guises including a summer residence, a farmhouse, and a secret home for the records of Scotland during World War II.  It was then converted into a hotel which ran for 50 years under three different owners, before being turned into a residential management training centre.

The house has recently undergone a total 'no expense spared' refurbishment and upgrade, resulting in a seriously luxurious private residence for guests to enjoy.

Ideal for families with young children, Stucktaymore has acres of formal gardens and two acres of forest to explore, and the adults can relax in the knowledge that once the garden gates are closed, the play area is totally enclosed.

There are several fire pits for summer BBQs in the grounds, plus a terrace and a hot seven-seater tub with exceptional views over the loch – perfect for a pre-dinner G&T!

Inside the house there is a library furnished with comfortable sofas, ideal for curling up with a good book in front of the open fire, and there is a snug bar for that post dinner whisky from one of Scotland's famous distilleries.

On the lower ground floor there is another bar, and a TV room with an 80" smart TV, Sky HD, blue ray and Xbox, with numerous programme options plus Netflix and iplayer.

Teenagers will while away the hours in the games room – also on the lower ground floor – which has a pool table and darts board, and further fun can be had in the room located off the kitchen, which has a wooden floor with a light system, disco ball and karaoke machine (it can also be configured for other activities such as yoga or business meetings).

There are plenty of things to see and do in the area including golf at Killin and Kenmore, Loch Tay Boating Centre, Colin Burt Reserve, Taymouth Trekking Stables, Highland Adventure Safaris, and Dewars World of Whiskey.

A two-night short break costs from £3684 (£127 per person), and a week's stay from £5132 (£176 per person).  Prices quoted based on full occupancy of 29 (the house also welcomes up to two, well-behaved dogs).
