NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - May 16, 2017 - PRLog -- Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys is offering a bi-yearly scholarship, giving $1,000 to a student who demonstrates through a personal statement, a commitment to using his or her education to improve the community. After announcing the winner, Bisnar Chase will also give away $500 to a nonprofit charitable organization of the winner's choice.

Students who are interested in applying to this scholarship program should submit a 500-word personal statement, which addresses why they are committed to education; the struggles faced by their respective communities; and how they intend to solve those issues within their communities. The charity that receives the $500 award will be chosen by the scholarship winner and must be a registered 501c3 charitable organization.

In addition to the personal statement, in order to qualify, applicants must be students enrolled in college or a junior or senior in high school. They must have at least a 2.5 GPA and the winner must provide transcripts as proof of his or her academic performance. A winner will be chosen twice a year.
