SAN FRANCISCO - Dec. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Fifty Shades of Grammar: Scintillating and Saucy Sentences, Syntax, and Semantics from The Grammar Diva has won a Best Book Award from the Bay Area Independent Publishers Association (BAIPA). This isn't the first time Arlene Miller, also known as The Grammar Diva, has won an award for one of her eight grammar books. Her first book, The Best Little Grammar Book Ever!, won Best Reference Book of 2011 from BAIPA, and this past spring, The Best Grammar Workbook Ever won an award from the New York Book Festival.

Fifty Shades of Grammar is a collection of fifty of The Grammar Diva's weekly blog posts. Entertaining and educational at the same time, the book contains posts about grammar, punctuation, writing style, words, holidays, and grammar pet peeves. Here are a few of the blog post titles: "Don't Dangle Your Participles," "Apostrophe Catastrophes," "Weird and Wonderful Words," "Eleven Reasons Why Books Make Great Gifts," and "The Alien in Your Future."

A bestselling Amazon author, The Grammar Diva writes friendly, easy-to-use books, answering the most common grammar, punctuation, writing, and word usage questions we all have. Although most of her books are primarily instructional, Fifty Shades of Grammar is also meant to be a humorous and fun read.

All The Grammar Diva's books are intended for ages 10 through adult. They are used in many schools and colleges and are appropriate for students, teachers, parents, homeschoolers, job hunters, professionals, and those whose native language is not English.
