NBalance Holistic Wellness Spa Adds Master Reiki Practitioner

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- NBalance Holistic Wellness Spa is pleased to announce that Lisa Demczuk has joined their practice as a Master Reiki practitioner. Lisa is originally from CT and has owned a mobile Reiki practice since 2001. She became a Master Reiki Teacher in 2008, and moved to FL in 2011.

"Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation," said spa owner Joy Hagstrom. "Lisa has been practicing for over 15 years and treats everything from stress, to hurt knees, sore backs, and beyond," she added. Reiki promotes healing on a mind, body and soul level.

Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Some people turn to Reiki when a traditional medicine doctor cannot find anything wrong with a patient but they are still not feeling well. "My favorite part about what I do is seeing their stress melt away," said Lisa. "It's similar to the feeling of having taken a vacation," she added. It is not designed to replace conventional medicine, but to work along side it.

Lisa offers services out of NBalance's Ormond Beach location and will be launching Reiki classes starting next month.
