Follow on Google News | Ariano - Love Is Not Lazy (EP)SoCal Hip-Hop Veteran Delivers Tales of Love, Hate And Everything In Between
By: Popular Nobody LLC With a full understanding of all that love is, long-time respected member of LA's Hip-Hop scene, Ariano, brings you his new self-produced EP, Love Is Not Lazy. Mixed and mastered by LDontheCut (DJ for Sublime with Rome), Love Is Not Lazy gives you a glimpse into Ariano's soul as he addresses the good and the bad in the world around us today. Ariano's moody baritone is accompanied by the smooth guitar sounds of Ian "ENS" Silverman, and fresh vocals from his own son, Sage. Artwork and imagery is created by the talented Juan "Joon The Goon" Alvarado, and videos are directed by the young hustler, Quite Frankly, out of Houston, Texas. The single, "Everything's Ok," serves up an aggressive and unfiltered social commentary that asks the question: IS everything ok? "Anymore," may be about relationships, but this ain't no love song. It can't be. Because there's no love lost when you've moved on but people from your past haven't. The video for his single, "The Rush," invites you along on Ariano's trip into a medicinal induced dream, chasing a figure just out of reach. The line between reality and a dream is blurred; is she there or just of figment of his imagination? Ariano is a veteran in the SoCal Hip-Hop scene. He has been releasing music for over ten years and is only gaining momentum and new fans with the honesty in his rhymes and the infusion of rock and soul into his hip-hop foundation. Ariano has been grinding hard in the southland since meeting LDontheCut in early 2005. The two co-founded a label, Technicali Sound, and released their debut album, A Thin Line, in 2006. The next year, Ariano dropped a self-produced LP, Music2BreakUp2, and followed that up with three strong solo albums, including 2014's Sad Songs Make Me Happy and this year's fully self-produced and mixed instrumental project, Less Is More, Volume 1. Since the ride began in 2005, Ariano has continued to collaborate with LA icons for tracks such as 2005′s "Hidden Jewel" with DJ Rhettmatic, and "Lost Angels" in 2006 with Akil of Jurassic 5. Ariano was featured on LMNO's 2010 release, P's & Q's, as well as on 2Mex and Murs' 2010 single, "Roller Coaster." In 2011, Ariano was featured on "High Off The Fame" by Candyman187 and the legendary Snoop Dogg. In addition, he's worked with Glasses Malone, members of Wu Tang Clan, The Visionaries, Ikey Owens of The Mars Volta and Jack White Band, KRS-One, DJ Khalil, Dudley Perkins, M.E.D., Evidence, Chali 2na, and many more. 2016 has seen Ariano work with Hip-Hop legends such as Zion I, for whom he produced and is featured on, "Not Ur Fault," from the newly released LP, The Labyrinth, songwriting and features on two tracks, "Stick Up" and "Take Off," along with LDontheCut, from Pigeon John's new album, Good Sinner, as well as producing Daddy Grace's (a.k.a. Born Allah) new single, "Top Shelf." The work with these exceptional artists has provided energy to the passion and spirit which Ariano brings to his tales about love, hate, and everything in between, on his new EP, Love Is Not Lazy.
