PEN ARGYL, Pa. - Nov. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- American Microsemiconductor, Inc. received funding from WEDnetPA to train key employees on ISO systems and parameters.

"Our employees are excellent at engineering products, we needed to take a step back and look at our entire process and improve turnaround times," stated Sean Michaels, General Manager.

This training enabled employees to implement and apply SPC procedures to the production of transistors and diode arrays -  ultimately leading to reduced modes of failure and increased return on investment of raw materials.  The company enhanced performance, increased product QA, reduced delivery time, and reduced production costs by 10% - a big win for a small, but precise company.

American Microsemiconductor continues to review its processes and seek ways to cut costs, increase efficiency and time-to-delivery without compromising quality.
