OneTraction Select Finalists for MIT Hackathon

BOSTON - Nov. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- OneTraction, a Silicon Valley-based Open Innovation Accelerator announced the selection of finalists for their Berkeley Global Hackathon, hosted virtually with the opening reception organized in San Francisco which was sold out and attended by prominent investors, press and guests observer including panelist from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley and Apple. The top winners are:

1) – Eangelica Aton of +note, which will analyze emotional well-being & physical rehabilitation by aggregating data via patient recognition technology, qualitative sources, and open APIs for user education, research, and improved TBI outcomes from healthcare providers. Our end goal is to establish a bridge between healthcare providers, community and rehabilitation services, and access to digital care plans. We will incorporate existing technology regarding movement tracking and social engagement to obtain more robust analyses, in addition to connecting patients who are at risk from physical injuries to also be linked to appropriate resources; and clinicians & researchers linked to them. 2) – John Khan is building a secure IoT network interface for the Internet. An inline type of firewall that will prevent IoT devices from being used as cyber-attack vectors. He is working to solve a key pillar of the IoT potential which is a $20 Trillion Global Market. 3) – Marty Markenson of Eduvrse intend to solve major opportunity in the education market. Many students find STEM education to be boring and uninspiring. The goal of Eduvrse is to give STEM students the opportunity to explore the wonder of these topics using Virtual Reality.
