Kent State University's Firestone Lecture Series to Host Speaker Wei Wang

KENT, Ohio - Nov. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Kent State University's College of Business Administration will present "CEO's Inside Debt and Dynamics of Capital Structure" featuring Wei Wang, Ph.D. as part of the Firestone Lecture Series in Finance on Friday, December 2.

Wang, assistant professor of finance at the Monte Ahuja College of Business, received a doctoral degree in finance from University of Colorado - Boulder.

Wang taught undergraduate, masters and doctoral courses at the University of Colorado - Boulder and at the University of New Orleans before joining Cleveland State University in 2013. His research interests are corporate finance, primarily security offerings, capital structure and corporate governance. Wang has published in such highly reputable journals as the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, Financial Review and Journal of Financial Research.

Sponsored by the College's Finance Department, the Firestone Lecture Series in Finance features innovative finance research that provides real-world industry applications. The series is funded by a generous gift from the Bridgestone Trust Fund, formerly known as the Firestone Trust Fund, dedicated to advancing financial education through research and innovative teaching.

The lecture is free and open to the public and will begin at 10:30 a.m. in room 483 on the fourth floor of the Business Administration Building.
