WINSFORD, U.K. - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Weaver Vale Conservative MP Graham Evans congratulated Cheshire entrepreneur Tony Faulkner  on the 20th anniversary of his trio of successful Lady Heyes Park businesses, when he joined more than 100 guests for a sparkling celebration event.

The business Tony Faulkner took over, following the end of a farming career 20 years ago, has been transformed  into three fast-growing Frodsham-based concerns  at the Lady Heyes Park and includes a Caravan Park, a Glamping Centre, offering a 21st Century alternative to caravanning and 17 retail units.

Speaking at the anniversary event, at which he was joined by members of his family, friends and local businesses, Mr Faulkner said he was delighted by the success of  Lady Heyes Park and looked forward to continued growth.

He was particularly pleased with the job opportunities his business had created for people in the Cheshire area and was delighted that all three concerns were attracting customers from far and wide, spreading the word of Cheshire's beauty and diversity as a tourist attraction.

Mr Faulkner and his wife Liz, who live in Norley, also cut a celebratory cake at the event and chatted with guests including Robert Crowther, the MD of Devonshire Bakery Ltd., who said:  "As a former chairman of the business group, Love Frodsham and MD of Devonshire Bakery I would like to congratulate Lady Heyes on their 20th anniversary."

He went on to say: "Frodsham and the surrounding area have, without doubt, benefitted from the growth of Lady Heyes bringing new people into the area and increasing the footfall in Frodsham as well as advertising the uniqueness of this market town. We wish them the best for their continued success."

Addressing the event,  MP Graham Evans said: "Lady Heyes is a fantastic business. I am proud to have entrepreneurs like Tony and Liz in my constituency. Three cheers to Cheshire Glamping! I am delighted at what you have achieved. Post Brexit, we need people and businesses with great ideas like yours, to boost trade, create jobs, wealth and attract investment. Cheshire needs you!

After the event Mr Faulkner said: "It was a delight to catch up with some great friends and neighbours at our anniversary  celebration. We've come a long way since starting the Lady Heyes project. The business is continuing to grow rapidly and our customer base is growing year on year. In fact over the last five years we have enjoyed an amazing 144%  growth."

Mr Faulkner's entrepreneurial activities began when he bought some local land in 1996 and  established his  Lady Heyes craft and antiques outlet. It began to grow steadily and is now home to 17 units  housing a total of 69 separate traders.

The Lady Heyes Caravan Park became his next project. The site attracted clients very quickly, partly due to its excellent location, which gives visitors incredible views of Cheshire's stunning countryside and Delamere Forrest.

"Lady Heyes Caravan Park has always been popular with our guests, but our latest Glamping service is rapidly growing in popularity," said Mr Faulkner. "My son Mitchel now runs Cheshire Glamping, which is still expanding, and he will continue to increase growth over the coming years. Mitch, as he is better known, has been here nearly 3 years and has learned about the business from scratch and has also successfully completed a Business Management Course whilst working."

Mitch explained: "Glamping is a sophisticated form of camping, using stylish and ultra-comfortable 'Pods' instead of tents. Our Glamping pods, which we make on-site,  are furnished to the highest standards,  with flat screen televisions, dvd player, private picnic and barbeque areas and hot tubs."

Before leaving the event  Mr Faulkner said: "This has been a wonderful evening and I would like to sincerely thank each and every member of our amazing hard-working team for all their efforts."
