Waterman Announces New Leadership Team

VISALIA, Calif. - Oct. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Waterman Industries today announced the appointment of a new President/CEO and the promotion of a veteran employee to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer.

Marcus Shiveley joins the company as President/CEO.  He was most recently Vice President of Finance & Business Development with The Betts Company, a Fresno-based manufacturer of custom-designed suspension springs and precision parts for transportation and industrial markets.   He brings over 35 years of experience in team-based leadership, supply chain management and growing profitable businesses to his new role.

David Vawter has been promoted to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer.   Vawter joined Waterman in 2001 and has held a series of progressive responsibilities including Design Engineer, Plant Manager and Director of Engineering.   His cross-functional knowledge and practical experience make him uniquely qualified to direct the expansion of Waterman's engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
