AxessPointe Community Health Centers Named as a 2016 Center of Excellence

AKRON, Ohio - Oct. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- AxessPointe Community Health Centers has been selected as one of Safety Net Solutions' 2016 Centers of Excellence.

For the past six years, Safety Net Solutions presented this award to dental programs they believe display tremendous leadership and excellence in oral health practice management, greatly improve their dental program operations and improve the oral health status of their patients.

AxessPointe, along with the other recipients, will be honored at an awards presentation during the upcoming National Network for Oral Health Access Conference in Denver, Colorado, on November 7, 2016.

Safety Net Solutions is a program of DentaQuest Institute and works to guide organizations through the practice improvement process to assist them in achieving their goals, including: increased access, strengthened financial viability and improved quality outcomes.

AxessPointe Community Health Centers is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) with five current sites in Northeast Ohio, including three in Akron, one in Kent and one in Barberton.

A FQHC is a not-for-profit corporation that delivers primary medical, dental and preventive health services in medically underserved areas. AxessPointe's dental services is a safety net dental program.
