HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Oct. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Award winning actor Gregory Blair has just been tapped to play the less than upright dance instructor Elijah in the latest script from Hunter Johnson, scribe of the psychological slasher JENNIFER 2—sequel to James Cullen Bressack's TO JENNIFER. Blair's role is front and center at the opening of the film, but—as is often the case in such films—he may or may not survive by the final reel.

"I was thrilled when Hunter offered me the role," Blair says. "I had heard a lot about the film and some of my colleagues are playing other roles so it felt a little like joining a party of old friends."  'Party' seems an appropriate word, since Blair and Johnson last worked together on Aaron Mento's UGLY SWEATER PARTY, where Blair also plays a not-so-nice guy.  "It's funny: I either play characters who are milquetoast, adorkable guys or else I'm playing totally hateful SOBs.  I love both and everything in between, so it's all good."

SERENA WAITS is a dark tale of an alcohol-fueled hook up taking a violent and horrifying turn, leaving three young men haunted by the very girl they left for dead.  Can revenge come from beyond the grave?  And if so, can you ever escape? Not without a lot of blood—at least as far as Hunter Johnson's film is concerned.  And Blair's scene is no exception.  "Oh, yes," Blair confirms.  "It's going to be bloody."

SERENA WAITS also stars familiar faces from the horror genre including Colton Wheeler, David Wesley Marlowe, Charles Chudabala, Lara Jean Mummert, Emily Dahm, Tiffani Fest, Jennifer Clarke and more.
