Follow on Google News | National and DC companies get to compete in their own real live "National Treasure" huntDC Companies get the chance to feel like they are part of the National Treasure Movie while participating in AdVenture Games Team Building's National Treasure Game!
By: Adventure Games inc. The National Mall is where these team members first meet for introductions and receives their maps. When the teams have gathered is when a mysterious person drops off a file. As the curious team opens it up, they learn of a missing National Treasure that must be found in 90 minutes or less. Included in the file is a case file and something that might be a clue. What follows will be a fast-pace race against the clock to crack codes, solve riddles and find the treasure before the time is up. A countdown clock is ticking down, so the teams can't waste a minute of time. Clues are deciphered within a few city blocks on landmarks, hidden combination locks and maps. The teams use cell phones to receive additional clues and GPS coordinates via text messaging and on the cell phones web browser. Each clue leads the team to a new location. However, teams must carefully piece all the information together to locate the treasure like a carefully crafted puzzle. Finding the treasure is not easy. It requires team work and cooperation, and most importantly communication. Success is based on effective communication and staying calm. Each team member must talk and listen equally. Natural leaders emerge throughout each of the various puzzles and mind games if teams choose to listen and trust one another. The company's teams will highly benefit because the National Treasure uses the science of synergy to engage team work, communication and problem solving skills in a fun, mentally stimulating adventure. Participants must learn the importance of communication as they work together and discover real-time lessons in the challenges and benefits of collaborating under pressure. Finally, participants experience the value of time management and develop balance and synergy during the game. "We too must focus on the specifics of obstacles in our own lives. If we can free ourselves from the constant struggles we place before our own feet we too will witness capabilities, we never thought possible for ourselves" says Chad Michael, CEO and founder of AdVenture Games. National Treasure is just one of many popular games that the AdVenture Games team offers to all kinds of companies from Fortune 500 to independently owned.
