RBackup Online Backup has enabled all emergency servers ahead of Hurricane Matthew

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Oct. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- RBackup Partners,

Due to the severity of Hurricane Matthew, all Emergency Hot Site Servers have been enabled.

These servers function as emergency failover protection for your customers in the event of a disaster that takes your RBS Server offline. If you have enabled the function and your Server is taken out of service, your clients will automatically redirect to our data center until you are back online. While we can't accurately predict exactly how destructive this storm will be, we feel it is best not to take risks. Hurricane Matthew is shaping up to be very serious for the Eastern coast of the US, with evacuation orders in place from Florida to South Carolina.

To enable the Emergency Hot Site for your customers, log into your Partners Portal account and enable the Emergency Hot Site toggle on your dashboard. If your RBackup Server goes offline, your users will begin switching over to RBS data centers after one hour of failing to connect to you. Contact our support coordinator if you need assistance enabling your hot site access.

Stay safe, and stay dry!
