Statement From Danny Wimmer Presents Regarding Houston Open Air

Festival producers Danny Wimmer Presents were reluctantly forced to cancel the second day of the Houston Open Air festival at NRG Park in Houston this Sunday, September 25 due to dangerous storm systems in the area.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer said, "The last thing we want to do is cancel a show, but we will not risk people getting hurt."

"The elements prevented us from giving Houston the rock show it deserves, but with the support of community, we will come back bigger and better. We are committed to and are passionate about the rock community and the city of Houston."

Houston Open Air was scheduled to feature a lineup of over 35 bands on three stages, led by rock heavyweights Avenged Sevenfold and Alice In Chains, along with Deftones, Chevelle, Slayer and many more. Over 25,000 people were in attendance over the two-day weekend.

Here's How to get your refund for your Houston Open Air ticket

"Dear Houston Open Air ticket purchaser-

We want to thank all of you for your support and patience over the past few days. As a result of the weather/safety related delays and cancellations from last weekend's event, we are offering all buyers the following refund:

·       Saturday Only Ticket— 50% refund of your ticket price.

·       Sunday Only Ticket—100% refund of your ticket price.

·       Two-day Ticket — 75% refund of your ticket price (I.e. 50% refund of the Saturday portion of the ticket price and 100% refund of the Sunday portion of the ticket price.

·       The above refunds apply to all GA and VIP tickets at each applicable price level.

For those of you who purchased via Front Gate Tickets via internet or phone, please email info@frontgatetickets.com (http://support.frontgatetickets.com/)  or call 888-512-7469 to request your refund. All refunds must be requested by Thursday, December 1st, 2016.

Statement from Punkstar Industries, Inc. Houston Open Air Festival Delayed & Cancelled Along Our Live Media Broadcast

Punkstar Radio's live media coverage of the Houston Open Air festival was delayed and canceled. Host Khris Harding and Jaime Punkstar's Publicist were unable get inside the gates to broadcast. The live media coverage was delayed Saturday, September 24th and Sunday September 25th was canceled at NRG Park. (One NRG Park, Houston, TX)
