Cheshire Businessman Says Brexit Is Not The Only Issue

WARRINGTON, U.K. - Sept. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- SOME business owners currently have more  pressing challenges than just the on-going Brexit debate that seems to be, quite rightly, uppermost in every politicians mind, according to Cheshire businessman Mark Brocklehurst.

The Director of Warrington-based document management specialists the Sharples Group explained: "The result of the referendum was a surprise for many and will doubtless have an impact on businesses across the board. But at the end of the day, businesses have to deal with an endless list of changes over time.

"For example, the Hanjin Shipping situation,  where the South Korean based shipping firm sought bankruptcy protection earlier this month, will have a significant impact on the businesses that rely on the company to deliver their products to customers across the world."

According to some reports, the company's financial difficulties were preventing Hanjin vessels from docking at key ports around the Pacific to deliver their on-board goods, causing knock-on effects to their customers.

"As a businessman whose company is committed to providing our range of printers and products to clients, I understand how damaging this situation can be for a company. Getting the product to the customers is vital for any business," added Mr Brocklehurst.

"Like many companies we only store a certain amount of stock so immediately when we heard about the Hanjin situation, we took precautions and put in place a disaster recovery system," explained Mr Brocklehurst. "Being independent we work on alternatives meaning we can buy from different suppliers ensuring that our clients will not be affected."

"Thankfully, it would appear that the Hanjin situation is under way to being resolved after one of its major shareholders approved an injection of financial assistance."

"Although the Brexit issue will have an impact on businesses, there will always be an endless range of issues for business owners to deal with," added Mr Brocklehurst. "Running a business is a challenge in itself. But, with the right experience and knowhow, most situations can be dealt with successfully. I'm sure Brexit will be the same!"
