AltaMed Calls "All Hands" to "The Power of Us" Conference

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- AltaMed Health Services Corporation held an annual corporate conference which brought together their employees from all over the Southern California region. The conference was held at the Shrine Auditorium, LA, and it attracted 2600 guests, which was 40% more employees than last year, making it AltaMed's largest conference ever.

The aim of the conference was to rekindle the organization's mission and team spirit that drives their exceptional business in the healthcare industry. The conference focused on bringing all of AltaMed's staff together for a full day of education and enlightenment on both the status of the health care company, but also to inspire change across communities starting with their employees.

"We are here to celebrate the 'Power of Us', the power to achieve our mission, the power to provide quality healthcare to each and every one of our patients and to create healthier communities and to give those communities a united voice," remarked Zoila D. Escobar, Vice President of Strategic Development and Community Support and the President of the AltaMed Foundation.

Since its inception as a clinic offering free services, the healthcare company has seen tremendous growth in the organization's spirit to help people of all race, creed and culture. The healthcare company has been as a platform to drive compassion in giving others the ability to tap into the power of them, hence the theme of the conference- "The Power of Us".

This helps them to eliminate the civil injustices that rocked the early life of the organization founder's early life in Mexico and drove him to establish that first free clinic decades ago.

"Through the 'Power of Us', AltaMed understands that healthcare is personal", one of the guests speakers remarked, pulling on her experience as a patient involved in a recent car accident. She noted that in the healthcare company, each and every individual is the 'face of healthcare' and is part of the patient's experiences.
