UFA Hawks Los Angeles Newest Member of Rapidly Expanding United Premier Soccer League

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League today announced the newest expansion team of the UPSL for the upcoming 2017 Spring season, the UFA Hawks Los Angeles. The club, which was founded in 2011, brings an exciting and energetic team/club to the UPSL.

The introduction into the UPSL is a very positive step for the UFA Hawks Los Angeles. UFA Hawks Los Angeles is a club that develops players from a young age and currently has 6 youth teams under its club umbrella – and with this step, the UFA Hawks Los Angeles players will be able to showcase their older and developed player's skills against some of the best Pro Development players from around the area and country.

Gabriel Peñaloza Head Coach of UFA Hawks Los Angelesstated, "We are very excited to become a member of the UPSL as we want to participate in a competitive league that can push our players to the next level. We like the fact that our club is able to participate in the U.S Open Cup        qualifiers as that is a special tournament that we are excited to be a part of today. The UPSL has grown over the years and we like the future direction of the league as it develops its regional and national footprint. We look forward to kicking off the season in the Spring on 2017 as have started our team preparation in terms of assembling a competitive squad that we have in our current player pool."

The (UPSL) United Premier Soccer League was formed in 2011. The UPSL currently operates 40 plus teams all based in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and Idaho with 50 plus teams targeted for 2016 Winter campaign. With the addition of new clubs, the United Premier Soccer League is America's fastest growing Pro Development League. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining UPSL minimum standards.

All UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
