NEW ORLEANS - Sept. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Those in the communications industries seeking internships, freelance, part-time, and full-time work now have an opportunity to find companies looking to hire and that value their values.

Senior college students, those who recently graduated, and professionals in communications are invited to apply for the newly unveiled #DoGood Network, a free, online league of socially conscious individuals who want to find employment with good companies, strive to make a difference in the world, and want to connect with others who feel the same.

The #DoGood Network (http://www.hero-farm.com/join-the-do-good-network) is an informal place where socially responsible professionals and businesses establish working relationships and like-minded people connect for advice, collaboration, and networking. Individuals in any area of communications are eligible (graphic designers, copywriters, account managers, coders, etc.)

"People are tired of working on things that don't make a difference," said Shaun Walker, the Creative Director and Co-Founder of HEROfarm, a New Orleans based marketing and public relations agency that developed the free network as an extension of its social mission.

HEROfarm, which has been featured by both Forbes and Inc. for its prominent role in social responsibility, believes in helping everyone they come across in some way as part of giving back.

"There are so many talented people out there looking to make a difference and we can't hire them all, so we created this 'league of heroes' to bring together the best minds with the biggest hearts in one easy-to-find spot. People want their work to have meaning," said Walker.

Becoming a member of the #DoGood Network is free. To join, potential members simply make a pledge of daily social responsibility and fill out a brief questionnaire. Each member is then given his or her own showcase page for socially responsible companies to browse among the grid of "heroes" seeking work. To show potential employees and others they are a part of the network, members are given a graphic emblem for inclusion in their email signature.

Individuals interested in applying to be a part of the #DoGood Network should visit http://www.hero-farm.com/join-the-do-good-network to take the pledge and apply.
