Out of that frustration came the idea of creating a lifestyle brand that made shopping for furniture and home furnishings easy and enjoyable. The aim is to make customers want to live in the Escapology. style with them adding more items to their home over time, building a long-term relationship, rather than a transaction. At Escapology no-one is on sales commission. "We are here to help customers, not to sell to them," added Matthew, "getting away from the sales person who seems only interested in getting their commission, rather than helping, is one of the reasons we started Escapology."
