The author has woven a moving storyline around the lives of two individuals across two generations. She was used when she was just 15, she was betrayed by her lover who was twice her age, and by the time she understood life, it had taken the best of her. With only hope left in her hands, she slowly made her path towards tranquility. She meets an IPS officer, who sweeps her off her feet but yet again, fate had it and they had part ways due to circumstances. With his priority being his career and hers being him, will she get what she wanted at least now? Or, will she relive the life as endured by her mother?
