Tyler Royale Releases Stream Of Debut Single 'What It Is' [LISTEN]

ATLANTA - Aug. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Following her highly anticipated television debut on MTV True Life's Hip Hop Hustlers, eighteen-year old singer/songwriter and print model, Tyler Royale has been getting ready to take her unique blend of urban pop, and  R&B  genres to a new level.  Her hard work has paid off as she had the opportunity to appear on Rapper Lil Yachty's recently release "Summers Songs 2" mixtape where she is featured on the track entitled "Such Ease".  She is also featured on a track with artist LOFT entitled "Silhouette" which lends itself to the sweet jazz sound often heard in high end restaurants and fancy hotel lobbies.  Tyler is now about to release an EP of her own.

Her soon to be released EP will be entitled "Girl Next Door", and will be comprised of dreamy, modern R&B vibes and will be entirely written by Tyler herself. The debut single, "What It Is", was produced by LOFT, written by Tyler Royale, and was slated for an August 23rd release. The single offers an equal amount of restraint and pushiness. Its smooth, minimalist production goes hand in hand with the demanding hooks, matched by the upbeat vocal delivery intensifying the dismissive underlying theme.

At the core of the project, Tyler Royale sets a clear tone by focusing her energy on making a variety of songs where there's always something empowering. "I want my music to offer girls who either went through or are currently going through something similar to my situation, something to relate to and hopefully to help them heal" says Tyler. "I want them to know that I go through the same drama as them and am also the girl next door, just like they are.  That's why I titled the EP 'Girl Next Door' "

Tyler is expecting to head out of the studio and into the world with a string of releases from her EP very soon. With undeniable talent, drive, originality, and ambition, Tyler Royale is well on the road of achieving her goal of being one of the most influential artists of her generation.

Tyler Royale is an American recording artist and dancer from Atlanta Georgia. In 2015, Tyler starred on MTV's True Life: Hip Hop hustlers which follows a group of up and coming hip-hop artists as they navigate their music careers in Atlanta.
