PRLog -- Hugh Middleton has served his country for over 24 years both in Naval Special Operations as a U.S. Navy SEAL and in upper management positions with some of the country's best-known military support companies. Middleton separated from the SEAL Teams in 2005 after reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander to embark on a civilian career that supported all services of the military.
Always driven to work for himself and start his own company, Mr. Middleton co-founded Kopis Mobile in January of 2013. Middleton describes Kopis Mobile as a calculated risk based on intuitive military experience and the knowledge that mobile devices, specifically mobile applications, would become the norm for use in training and combat. In addition to Middleton, other founders of the company who shared his vision include aeronautics, astronautics, software and mechanical engineers. Together, they create apps and app-enabled equipment for the Department of Defense, law enforcement and private security markets that are lightweight, durable and timesaving devices. What Kopis creates directly impacts the warfighter on ground by making them more efficient and saving them money.
Kopis has actually developed a proprietary diagnostic system that rapidly identifies pain points, inefficiencies, and time wasting processes within military and law enforcement organizations. The engineers at Kopis then create products specifically designed for the warfighter direct from the warfighter. Middleton doesn't believe in "build it and they will come". He believes in building what folks on the ground want in order for them to do their jobs better and get it to them as fast as possible.
