Federal Brace's Mantel Bracket Line

Federal Brace is releasing a line of mantel brackets, including four varieties of U-bracket and one triple-gusset, aptly named the Cascade.

BELMONT, N.C. - Aug. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- A new line of mantel brackets and supports is being released by Federal Brace, a premier designer and manufacturer of countertop supports, braces, and additional varieties of steel support elements for the construction, design, and remodeling industries. These mantel brackets, each named for a rustic mountain range, resort, or town, are all available in a bold black, powdercoat to be weather-resistant, and made of the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship for which Federal Brace has become known. The Appalachian, Biltmore, Breckenridge, Cascade, and Nevada round out the inaugural designs in this elite line, none of which would be out of place in a cozy cabin nor an illustrious mountainside escape.

In addition to holding mantels, these brackets, being weatherproof, are the perfect accoutrement to a garden shed or outdoor area, where they can hold tools or store hoses and other tubing or materials. Each bracket has a considerable carry capacity and is able to be easily wall-mounted, allowing the homeowner, resort owner, or designer to plan for a large mantel - creating a statement above the fireplace and allowing for the display of various decorative features.

The Cascade, named for the Cascade Mountains of the northwest United States, is one of the standouts of this line, with a bold gusset that resembles a waterfall stemming 6x10. Each of the other four brackets, all available in a 6x6 or an 8x8 size, have subtly differing styles. The Appalachian, which, like its namesake - the mountain range stretching across the eastern seaboard - makes a statement with a strong, straight rising flange. The Biltmore, named for an historic mountain home and resort area, has a split lower flange, allowing for woodwork to show through. The Breckenridge, dubbed after a quaint mountain town in Colorado, has a small decorative cut-out on the lower flange. Finally, the Nevada, named after the Sierra-Nevada mountain range bordering California and Nevada, has two holes in which homeowners can insert a decorative aspect, such as forged iron clavos, which are an add-on accessory available from Federal Brace.
