Meet Vlad, the cupid of covert proposal photography

NEW YORK - Aug. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Meet Vlad Leto, the covert proposal photographer/ videographer of New York. Primarily a wedding and engagement photographer, Vlad also provides a niche service- the art of taking discreet photographs of proposals in New York. Boyfriends and girlfriends seek him out in advance to discuss details such as location and time, after which Vlad investigates the venue to determine the best vantage point to capture his best shots. There is a lot of sneaking around involved in his line of work, but he enjoys it and when the subject of his photography says "yes!", both he and his client breathe a visible sigh of relief.

Hiding behind trees, walls, and making himself inconspicuous are just part of the job description. Vlad also makes recommendations for the best proposal spots in the city to his clients.

"Though I have secretly photographed over 600 proposals at Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, rooftops and even performance theaters, the anticipation and excitement are always part of the experience," states Vlad. "With the Supreme Court's decision to legalize same-sex marriage, my client base has grown in both variety and style, with each person having their unique tastes and preferences. It's all about celebrating love!"

Vlad is a Russian native who came to New York in 2005 to pursue the American dream, working a few odd jobs until he discovered his love for wedding photography. He began covert photography by chance, when one of his clients approached him about privately taking pictures of him as he proposed to his girlfriend, after which he fell in love with capturing the affectionate ritual on camera.

Vlad Leto has been featured in such publications such as Cosmopolitan and New York Times, with his passion for capturing images driving him to acquire a Master's' Degree in Photography from the School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York.
