Bath Spa Emerging artists showcase new work at MA Show 2016

BATH, U.K. - Aug. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Bath School of Art and Design at Bath Spa University will host its annual MA Degree Show this September (Saturday 24 - Wednesday 28 September).

Visitors will have the opportunity to view new and unique paintings, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, drawing and film, created by this year's talented graduating Masters students.

The exhibition is free and will be open daily at Bath Spa University's Sion Hill Campus, from Saturday 24 to Wednesday 28 September, open between 10:00am and 5:00pm.

The exciting and diverse work being exhibited is a culmination of a year of intense full-time study and allows the postgraduate students to exhibit their creations for the first time.

This year over 30 artists and designers will be showcased from a variety of courses including, MA Fine Art, MA Design: Fashion and Textiles, MA Design: Ceramics and the MA Curatorial Practice.

Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of Bath School of Art and Design, said: "Our postgraduate study here is a distinctive and lively hub of creativity, research and entrepreneurial activity. I look forward to welcoming visitors to our exhibition by a group of highly talented and inspirational emerging artists."

Bath School of Art and Design offers a range of opportunities for creative practice at all levels and has a variety of specialist workshops, resources and studio space.
