Homes by Dickerson announces new solar option for home buyers

MORRISVILLE, N.C. - Aug. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Homes by Dickerson announced today it will be offering solar photovoltaic (PV) electric systems as option upgrades to prospective buyers across the Triangle. Homebuyers will be able to select a range of system sizes from 3 kilowatts to 9 kilowatts--depending on available roof space-- to generate electricity and lower their monthly utility bill. Depending on the size of each home, the system will offset normal electricity bills by 40-75%. The system does not impact natural gas bills.

The company selected Southern Energy Management, a locally owned clean energy company and B-Corp, as their solar contractor.  The company will provide full "turn-key" solar systems that include permitting, utility interconnection, installation and the official commissioning of the system.  According to Bob Kingery, President of SEM, it was a no-brainer.
