Compensation: Industry Competitive

The Protection Security Specialist's primary responsibility is to deter theft, communicate suspicious activity to law enforcement, maintain a safe business environment, and provide strong customer service. The Protection Specialist is primarily stationed at the customer entrances and monitors customer traffic entering and exiting the assigned site.  Protective Security Specialist typically work as needed 12-50 hours a week (including weekend nights) and are offered full time positions once fully vetted. We have a need for armed and unarmed guards with active, reserve, and veteran military experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PARA-MILITARY ATTITUDE A PLUS
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement Service
• Have At Least One Year Experience in a Physical Security Function
• Valid Government Issued Driver's License
• A GED or High School Diploma
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card
• Ability to Perform Essential Functions of the Position
• Pass Employment Verification, Background Check and Drug Testing
• Have Excellent ENGLISH Verbal and Written Skills
• Sharp, Neat and Professional Appearance and Attitude
• Responsible For Reacting To Alarm Conditions at the Doors Should the System Activate
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Authorized to Work in the United States
• Have Access to Reliable PERSONAL Transportation
• Able To Stand On Feet for Lengthy Amount of Time, Walk, Patrol
• A Cell Phone That Receives Text Messages and Has Access to the Internet As Well As Email Address
• Own a Small Flashlight, Basic Computer Skills, Monitor CCTV and Other Alarm Systems
• Properly Report to Any Unusual Activities to Management and Law Enforcement

Duties include but are not limited:

• Perform security patrols on foot
• Open and close doors or gates as required, direct traffic in all areas as necessary
• Complete reports as required
• Check perimeter per post security plan
• Performs other duties as assigned.
