Distance Education Pioneer EDUKAN Partners with Canvas LMS for all 2016 Fall Courses

GREAT BEND, Kan. - Aug. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- EDUKAN, leader in distance education for college students since 1998, has selected the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) by Instructure, a cloud-based, open-source LMS as the consortium's platform for course management.

Canvas was selected after a comprehensive evaluation of best-in-class learning management options available, keeping a focus on the needs of today's college student to be mobile accessible, collaborative, and user-friendly; while offering the faculty a simple architecture for course content creation and delivery.

Conversion to the new LMS has begun with full transition completion targeted for all Fall 2016 courses. The on-time project implementation and seamless roll-out is a testament to the efforts of the EDUKAN staff and faculty, as well as the Canvas project team.
