RAID Inc. Enlists Software-Defined Storage Executive as VP of Marketing

Baker has joined the fast-growing company as VP of Marketing to help scale RAID's growth and go-to-market operations. Baker will quarterback the surge into Microsoft's flash-centric hyperconverged Storage Spaces Direct and Azure Stack hybrid cloud architectures, by building upon RAID Inc.'s well-established pedigree as massively scalable high performance computing (HPC) storage technical experts.

Baker brings nearly 20 years of OS-agnostic hardware and storage experience with an extensive background in enterprise strategy, partner relationship management, demand generation, product marketing and channel growth. Most recently, he served in a channel and alliance VP role forging the adoption of Microsoft's Scale-Out Files Server technology–commonly known as Storage Spaces. He also has held growth oriented roles at ZFS-oriented Nexenta Systems, where he helped to define the birth of software defined storage with 486% YoY growth.
